近年来，随着adas（高级驾驶辅助系统）的发展和车载信息娱乐功能的增加，车载显示器需要具备更高的清晰度以便提高视认性。针对这种需求，具有局部调光功能的led驱动器可以只关闭液晶显示器暗部的背光，有助于提高液晶显示的清晰度并降低功耗，因此开发新一代驾驶舱的各制造商正在考虑采用这种led驱动器。而以往的直接式led驱动器，一枚ic可以控制的分区数不足100个，在随着显示器尺寸增大而分区数日益增加的车载显示器领域，面临着led驱动器和外围元器件面积增加的挑战。
概要
“bd94130xxx-m”是由8路开关控制器和24通道电流驱动器组成的矩阵式led驱动器，仅由这一枚ic即可将背光用的mini led分割为多达192个分区进行控制（调光）。另外，每个分区的mini led还可通过局部调光功能独立控制，有助于提高显示器的清晰度并降低功耗。目前，在车载显示器领域，分区数量与日俱增，而且已成为市场发展趋势，“bd94130xxx-m”与直接式的普通产品相比，一枚ic能够控制的分区数量更多，因此可以大幅削减安装面积和所需控制器数量。例如，目前主流的采用了10英寸级车载显示器的车载信息娱乐系统，需要控制大约600个分区，本产品与直接式的普通产品（支持48个分区）相比，仅需1/4的led驱动器数量即可进行控制，led驱动器所占的安装面积可以缩减多达84%。另外，随着新一代驾驶舱所用显示器尺寸的增大，分区数也日益增加，因此采用“bd94130xxx-m”所带来的好处越发凸显。
